We had a nice day today in the Philadelphia area. The day started with a football game where St.Joe’s beat our Lady of Fatima. The weather was great and the game was excellent. The boys put left it all on the field. We relaxed for the afternoon and then went to dinner at buffet for the first time. The food was okay but we decided it was a one time thing, We’re all going to help my wife Mary prepare the whole meal at home next year. She got her point across to the kids on how much of an effort it is to prepare a meal that size by your self. Well gotta go…hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

The lawsuits that are pending in relation to the proposed airport flight plan changes in our area have been pushed forward . The local state rep Joe Sestak is moving forward to stop the FAA from flying more planes over our homes in Delaware County PA. I am really looking forward to spending it at a football game in the morning watching my daughter cheer for her team. The whole time we growing up together my brother and I spent a lot of time playing sports. We played the usual pick up games of basketball, football street hockey etc. We both took a lot of bumps and bruises that come with the territory of street games. The media is talking about oil breaking $100.00 a barrel this coming week. I stay say we should stop driving our cars for at least one day. If we did that they oil company’s would lose millions of dollars. I know it doesn’t sound like much but I would be willing to burn a vacation day or two just to sit at home so that the oil companies could take a financial loss. They deserve it so bad.
My garage is my work area for projects around the house. As you can imagine the floor has amassed all kinds of stains. The most common are oil and paint from my many different tasks. There is also many cracks due to the age of the floor. I was going to have the concrete redone but after reviewing garage floors my thoughts have changed to having the floor done in tile.
