Looking Good
October 21st, 2007The game last night was another step forward for the Flyers. They beat the Hurricanes in overtime 3-2. I still can’t believe the turn around in the is team over the off season. The Hurricanes are an extremely quick team that can beat you in many ways. The Flyers hung tough and were down 2-1 going into the 3rd period. The defense still keeping most of the shots from the outside perimeter. They got a power play and made the Hurricanes pay for it by tying the score 2-2. Richards is having a great start to the season. The young legs of the Flyers stayed with Carolina and put the pressure on their defense until  the end of regulation. Gagne scored the game winner in overtime for the Flyers. Another great performance by a team that was dead in the water last season. Keep up the great work.
