January 18th, 2008The Flyers scored 4 goals int he first period and then had to hold on to beat the Panthers last night in Philadelphia. Danny Briere scored two goals while Simon Gagne, Scott Hartnell, Kimmo Timonen added a goal each. Antero Nittymaki was awesome in goal again as he stopped 28 shots. One on an incredible paddle save that he swatted out of midair as the puck was heading into the net. That potential goal would have tied the score at four. The next game for the Flyers is Saturday in Long Island against the Islanders.
