The whole time we growing up together my brother and I spent a lot of time playing sports. We played the usual pick up games of basketball, football street hockey etc. We both took a lot of bumps and bruises that come with the territory of street games. Now that we are older we both have developed aches and pains that need the help of sports creams to alleviate the pain. My brother has developed arthritis in his knees and elbows. He is in constant pain and has tried all of the usual remedies. His wife won’t let him into bed at night if he smells like one of the available cream medications. She says it stains her sheets and smells up the entire bedroom. Now my brother is searching for a new pain reliever that does not give off an enormous aroma when you apply the medicine to your body. I was in the drugstore a couple of weeks ago and noticed this new medicine on the shelf. I purchased some freezeitgel and gave it to my brother the next time I saw him. He tried it the next night and called me to let me know it was the best remedy he has tried to date. The media is talking about oil breaking $100.00 a barrel this coming week. I stay say we should stop driving our cars for at least one day. If we did that they oil company’s would lose millions of dollars. I know it doesn’t sound like much but I would be willing to burn a vacation day or two just to sit at home so that the oil companies could take a financial loss. They deserve it so bad.
My garage is my work area for projects around the house. As you can imagine the floor has amassed all kinds of stains. The most common are oil and paint from my many different tasks. There is also many cracks due to the age of the floor. I was going to have the concrete redone but after reviewing garage floors my thoughts have changed to having the floor done in tile. They have a nice selection to choose from and the cost is well within my budget.
The Eagles should be able to even their record at 5-5 today at the Link. The Dolphins are still looking for their first victory of the year. They will give a rookie quarterback his first start which the Eagles defense should enjoy. Jim Johnson loves to give a rookie his first game experience with his blitz packages. Should be a good game for the Birds as long as they don’t get over confident.
Our family has just purchased a new home and we need to furnish the entire house with new furniture. We have a plan for what each room will look like and we are taking our time choosing each piece to fit our taste. Barry Bonds can now consider his career as officially over. He will not be offered a contract by any team as long as he has been indicted for obstruction and perjury. Just having him on your roster would be a major distraction. He might as well just retire now. He has lied to all of us for years and he is lucky this didn’t happen before he broke the home run record. The record is already tainted and this situation will only make it worse for Bonds. I guess he should have given it a shot naturally.
The mayor elect in Phildaelphia has chosen his new chief of police to come from Washington D.C. He is a tough cop who is more friendly to the citizens than he is to his own police force. Chief Ramsey turned down the crime rate in D.C. and can do it again in Philly. We someone who is not going to be afraid to bend some rules when it comes to arresting criminals. The stop & frisk law should be approved so that if police have a strong suspicion about a possible suspect they can search them on the spot. I think as long as they don’t abuse it the law will help. If criminals think there is a chance they may get searched they may be less likely to carrry a weapon.
The wife and I are looking to redecorate our master bathroom. We are looking to do the walls and floors in tile. We have been to a few local stores and have not been satisfied
with the selections that are available. A friend told us to check glass tile for a
wide selection of tiles. The site is very easy to shop and the selection is second to none.

I don’t feel like it’s going to be a very good holiday season this year. This has been a very tough year financially and I know it’s not supposed to be but not having a lot of money to spend seems to be keeping me in a rut. I will be looking to my wife to bring my spirit up and I know she won’t let me stay down for long. After all it is about spending time with family and having fun regardless of the money spent on gifts.
Philadephia is quickly becoming a shooting gallery for police. We had two more officers wounded tonight when they were serving a warrant. Neither officer was severely wounded and they are out of the hospital tonight. I can’t believe that we as a society can breed such human trash. These men and women are putting their lives on the line every shift they work. How can the parents of today allow their children to turn into such vial adults. If we don’t straighten this out very soon the future does not look very bright. Our children are really turning into animals. They would shoot you just as soon as look at you. Not the world I dreamed of living in when I was young.
