There was a demonstration today in Philadelphia. The victims of gun violence were led down the steets by people in wheel chairs. They headed to city hall to protest the gun laws. I feel sorry for every one of them. They do no realize it was all in vain. The politicians that have the authority to regulate gun sales will never pass a bill because of the N.R.A.. They keep hiding behind the right to bear arms amendment in the constitution. I really do not believe that our fore fathers would have instituted the law if they were alive today. The amount of guns that end up in the hand of criminals is way out of control. Many of them are stolen from law abiding citizens who are in fear for their lives due to the high murder rate in major cities. I am on both sides of the track on this issue. I want people to be able to defend themselves if necessary but so many of the guns end up in the hands of criminals. Even if gun laws were changed they could a way to get their hands on a gun by beatiing the system or just stealing one. I guess the best way to avoid the situation though is to just have the guns removed completely. Not very realistic but if they are not available to the public at all it will be a lot more difficult for guns to end up in the hands of criminals. If we can’t find a way to protect our people better than we can today then guns should go. I guess my main thought here is not to see any more demonstrations held by victims of violent crimes because no one is doing a thing about gun regulation.

I have had a terrible time over the last year with a wet leaky basement. The previous owner had a French drain installed and I have had nothing but basement drainage problems. A buddy of mine suggested I call B-Dry Waterproofing to assess and repair my damaged basement. I called and the company sent over an estimator. After talking for a while with the representative I was happy to find out that they could remove the French drain and repair all the cracks in my walls at a reasonable price. The part I’m really looking forward to is having a waterproof basement that will be protected should any problems arise. B-Dry Waterproofing is a proven company that has been around for 50 years.
